Should I confront my boss about racism?
This has nothing to do with being black and everything to do with your boss not having the balls to do his job. Any infraction of the rules should come with a write up, too many writes should equal termination. Unfortunately, it's your bosses fault for not holding everyone to the same standards, it's not her fault. People will only do what you let them do. How can you, the employees, take legal action against her if your boss is not willing to? I'm the office manager at our small medical practice and this is behavior I wouldn't stand for. If your boss doesn't like confrontation, may I suggest someone else apply for his position.
