Blackberry 8530 stuck on loading screen?

My Blackberry (I think) just restarted itself. It's on the loading screen (black screen with the white loading bar) and it will get to about 2/3 of the way and just stop. I did the battery pull but that did not work. I'm getting very aggravated here and I really don't want to have to take it back to Verizon to get it looked at.
