Does my neighbor like me?

I like my neighbor...Everyone says he likes me too. He aggravates me and i do the same. He is my best friend and he says I am his best friend too. My cousin asked him one day "Do you and her like each other? You act like you do." and my neighbor looked over at me (Although I wasn't close enough to hear them) and he smiled and said "We are just graet friends..For now"And started blushing. Does he mean something by "For now"
